of Charlotte, North Carolina, formally of Palmetto, FL, passed away June 26, 2013. He was born in Pitts, Georgia on October 20, 1932. In 1981, he met and married his classmate, Emma Jean Green Leach. Their combined union included 11 children and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. James Leach obeyed the gospel of Christ under the teaching of Thomas Green and was baptized at Eleventh Street Church of Christ in Palmetto, FL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bethennia Leach; father, John Leach; 2 sisters, Emma Leach and Mammie Leach; ond one son, Richard Leach. The wake will be held at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC on Monday evening, July 1st, 6-8 PM. The service will be held at the Lake Norman Church of Christ in Huntersville on Tuesday, July 2nd, 11 AM. Interment will be at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, FL, with a graveside service at 11 AM on Saturday, July 6th, under the direction of Chandler's Funeral Chapel of Sarasota, FL. Floral Memorials are welcomed, as well as donations to the Howard B. Rorrer Scholarship in the name of James Leach.
