Bradenton, FL Jay D. Wallick of Columbus, OH; Luther and Spring Lake, MI passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016, in Bradenton at the age of 68. He was born August, 24th 1947 to Adrian Wallick and Varian (Mills) Wallick in Sunbury, OH. He married Diane (Reed) Wallick June 24, 1989 in Luther, MI on the Pine River. He formerly owned and operated Waterfront Pizza and Pasta downtown Grand Haven and worked for Seaway Manufacturing. Jay was a member of Spring Lake Presbyterian Church, Christ Church of Longboat Keys, and Luther United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Masonic Temple No. 139. He enjoyed being an outdoorsman; hunting, golfing and fishing. Survivors include sons, Travis (Ashlee) Wallick and Chris Olson; daughters, Angelique Caldwell and Tamara Zimmerman; siblings, Andrew Wallick and Scott (Marie) Wallick; grandchildren, Christopher, Brayden, Cameron, Olivia, Gavin, Zev, Abram, and Hattie; and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father Adrian Wallick and wife Eleanor Wallick, mother Varian (Mills) Wallick, son James Zimmerman and wife Diane (Reed) Wallick. A service will be held at 2:00pm on Jan. 5th, 2016 at Christ Church of Longboat Keys with a memorial being held in the summer months, to be announced, in Luther, MI. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to any of the following organizations: Luther Library, Luther Lions Club, Pine River Association, or the Ruffed Grouse Society.
