83, Bradenton, Passed away peacefully in her sleep on the evening of October 6, 2016 of natural causes. Jean was born in Middletown OH, but grew up in Mt. Sterling KY. Following in her mother's footsteps, she was a teacher for most of her adult life. A talented artist herself, she shared her passion with her students for nearly thirty years before retiring to a life of golf and bridge in Manatee County, Florida. Jean was a member of the Bradenton Country Club and an active member in her local Bible study group at Trinity United Methodist Church. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, the former Dean and Assistant Principal of Manatee High School, Robert Crawford. Jean is survived by her sister, Peggy Breeding, her two daughters, Karen Rogers and Jan Kemmer, and her three grandchildren Jessica, Sam, and Bobby Kemmer.
