87, of Bradenton passed away July 1, 2016, surrounded by her family. A native of Fort Thomas, Kentucky she moved to Florida in 1951. She was a wife and mother of four children. First and foremost a mother and homemaker, she loved volunteering to help with her children's activities – school nurse, PTA president, classroom assistant. Outside the home she found time to be a bookkeeper in a construction company, owner of Lee's Poultry Farm and a salesperson at Manasota Memorial Park. In 1982 she moved to Clearwater, Florida and helped start R2J Chemical Services where she was active until her retirement in 1992. In 2012 she returned to Bradenton. In retirement she spent many hours with her grandchildren and remained the matriarch of her family. She is survived by her children, David (Sharon) Roell, Dennis Roell, Bobby (Elaine) Lee and Terri Lee, six grand-children, two great grand-children and one great-great grandchild. She lived a full life, was loved and will be missed greatly. She will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. There will be a private family service at a future date. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 43rd Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice at www.tidewell.org or Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc. at www.guidedogs.org. Condolences may be made to www.brownandsonsfuneral.com.
