our beloved mother, passed away on September 12, 2016 in her cherished home. She was born in LaGrange, Missouri on January 21, 1936. Daughter of Wilson Farr and Violet S Oenning. She married her high school sweetheart, David Christner and had three sons; Mark, Mike (Missy), and Todd (Brenda). Our mother led a full life. She was a devoted mother and housewife. Mom would drive boat trailers to support our dad, who was a well?known boat racer. As a pilot she loved flying her Aero Commander. Mom traveled extensively around the world with our dad and shared many adventures with us. Mom started up a mortgage company which became very successful. She was a well?known mortgage banker/broker in the business community. She excelled in sales and her customers loved her. She was an avid boater and fisherman. She bowled 300 in her bowling league and was admired by her teammates. She loved life and lived big. She eventually purchased a beautiful home on Phillippi Creek that she loved and enjoyed immensely. She threw big get?togethers with family and friends at her home. She loved her grandchildren; Matthew, David, Justin, Joshua, Kevin, and Sammy as well as her great granddaughters; Jaci and Grace. She also loved her dogs, Beasley and Dorothy and her cat, Teak. She was close to her beloved brother, Roger who lives nearby. She dearly missed her brother, Jack, who preceded her in death. She loved her daughter-in-laws, Brenda, Millissa, and Denise. She also held a special place in her heart for Kim, who treated her with kindness and love. Mom will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts and thoughts. She is in God's arms now and with her beloved family that preceded her in death. We love you, Mom.
