SSGT. John L. Hartman, Jr., 39, was killed by an IED explosion in Baghdad, Iraq. His career was with the military, in the U.S. ARMY. He was a loving father, and is survived by his much loved children: daughter, Victoria E. Hartman, and son, Steven X. Hartman, of Georgia. Also survived by grandparents, Jean and C.J. Jones, Jr.; his sister, Jennifer L. Schueller, of Bradenton; brother, Jared L. Hartman, of Port Charlotte. Also his father, John L. Hartman, Sr., of Lake City, Fla., and mother, Charlene Reihbolt, of Sarasota. In Lieu of flowers donations to Make A Wish Foundation would be appreciated. Services will be Friday, 4:00p.m., Dec. 15, 2006, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 3100 26th Street West, Bradenton, Fla. Manasota Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
