Juan Francisco Luna, Jr., 28, of Palmetto, Fla., passed away April 7, 2016. Juan was born in Edinburg, Texas. He moved with his family to Florida in October of 1990. Juan graduated from Palmetto High School, where he met his true love, Lucilla "Lucy" Cruz. Juan worked for Brighthouse as a technician. He loved his "old school" cars, including his Oldsmobile Cutlass. Juan was an avid gamer. He loved his family with all his heart and being.
Juan is survived by his wife, Lucy Luna, of Palmetto, FL, their children; Juan Francisco Luna, III, Emily Michelle Luna, half brothers; Jesse Castenada, Tony Castenada, Brian Castenada, of Bradenton, sisters, Jennifer Alvarez, of Charlotte, NC, parents; Juan Francisco Luna, Sr., of Iowa, Elisa Martinez, stepmother, Maria Ortega, grandparents; Jose Martinez, Maria Elena Garcia, Pedro Luna. Juan was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Martina Luna.
Visitation hours will be from 10:00 am-12:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Skyway Memorial Funeral Home. The service will begin at 12:00 pm and burial will follow at Skyway Memorial Gardens.
