Kenneth G. Larson, 81, of Lakewood Ranch, FL, formerly of Ingleside, IL, died on July 10, 2013. Born to Alice (Newell) & Gunnar Larson, mar-ried to Florence Marie (Wilks). He was a veteran in the Army, serving his country during the Korean War & honorably discharged. A Lane Tech H.S. graduate, he was a general contractor in No. IL & a member of the Carpenter's Union before moving to Sarasota with his wife, Florence. He was co-owner of Bench-Mark Blueprinting, Inc. from 1986-1996. The business was sold to his son, Larry & daughter-in-law Linda (Lyn) Larson, upon retirement in 1996. Survivors include his wife of 61 yrs., Florence, son Larry, sister Marion (Larson) Youngs, 3 grandchildren, Mark Larson, Lenny & Danny Nemeth. Preceded in death by mother Alice, father Gunnar & daughter Lynn Marie (Larson) Nemeth. There will be no visitation. A celebrating of life service will be held at the Sarasota National Cemetery in August after his grandson, Mark, returns home from Germany. Donations may be made in his name to Tidewell Hospice of Sarasota.
