88, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2016 at Freedom Village.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at West Bradenton Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM at the church. Burial will follow the funeral at Mansion Memorial Cemetery in Ellenton at 2:00 PM. Lavonne was born in Sparr, Florida on April 1, 1928 to Hugh and Lucille (Holder) Stidham. She graduated from Alachua High School.Lavonne was married to Ira E. Webb on December 26, 1948 for 59 years until his death in March 2008. After marriage she worked as a homemaker enjoying cooking, sewing, gardening and being a loving wife and mother. She was actively involved in various activities of West Bradenton Baptist Church where she was very proud of being a charter member.She was survived by; four children, John (Susan) Webb, Michael (Jeanie) Webb, Stephen (Val) Webb and Cynthia (Wayne) Varnadore; eight grandchildren, Michael (Cathy) Webb, Christopher Webb, Jesse (Melissa) Webb, Bruce (Jessica) Varnadore, Blake Varnadore, Lindsay (Quin) Revel, Sean Webb and David (Sierra) Webb; six great-grandchildren; Shelbie Webb, Deacon Varnadore, Roman Varnadore, Dylan Webb, Gibson Webb and Rowan Revel; a brother Ira (Peggy) Stidham, a sister Joanne (Bud) Seabrooke, a sister-in-law Etoile Stidham; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by a brother Hugh Bert Stidham.The family of Lavonne Webb wishes to thank the loving folks at Freedom Village and Tidewell Hospice for their kindness and care.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238.
