85, Parrish, died April 12, 2016. Born in Detroit, MI, he moved to Manatee County in 1992 and he attended Parrish United Methodist Church. He was a US Army Veteran who served during the Korean War. Lee worked in the computing center at the University of Michigan for 35 years and for many of those years as the Assistant Director of the Computing Center. Lee was a supporter of Southeastern Guide Dogs, Inc. and he volunteered for 4 years until his health would not allow him to continue. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jessie Irene Mitchell of Parrish, FL. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00AM Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the Chapel at Parrish United Methodist Church, 12180 US Highway 301 North, Parrish, FL 34219.
