73, beloved wife of Waleri (Larry) Wedrow, passed away peacefully September 7, 2016 surrounded by her family. The former Peggy Ann Polo was born November 9, 1942 in Bridgeport, CT, the only child to Michael and Gertrude Polo. She graduated from Bassick High School, where she was a cheerleader in 1960. Margaret worked for Dictaphone and Southern CT Bell Telephone. Years later, she moved, with her family, to East Haven, CT. Teddie became involved in the fitness industry working for companies including European Health Clubs, American Health and Fitness, Gloria Stevens and SpaLady. Teddie then owned and operated Teddie Wedrow & Co Aerobics, where she led hundreds of people to the road of health and wellness. Teddie introduced water aerobics to the New Haven area and YWCA. Also, she introduced fitness to the Yale New Haven Hospital, Yale University and St. Raphael's Hospital for their employees as well as teaching in numerous church basements and fire houses when aerobic dance and fitness was all the rage. Teddie was the face of fitness for special needs and arthritis people and was loved by the community. Teddie was the director of Home Care Services of Bridgeport, assisting people to stay in their homes in times of illness and received much recognition and many awards for her knowledge and compassion in helping families in their times of need. Teddie has resided in Bradenton for the past 22 years with her devoted and loving husband Larry and their fur baby, Tree. Besides her many friends, she leaves behind her 3 children, Susan Hoffman Trischitti (John), Michael Grigor (Nancy) and Gabrielle Nicole Wedrow. She also leaves behind her 6 beautiful grandchildren whom she adored. William (BJ) Kowaleski Jr. (Blake), Sarah Kowaleski Lorusso (Donald), Kristifer Kowaleski, Magnus Grigor, Jadelynn Ann Ye and Jonathan Ye and 2 great grandchildren, Sawyer Sheridan Kowaleski and Camden William Kowaleski as well as her best friend, Joanne Turonis. Teddie loved the beach, loved to dance, had an infectious laugh, loved her Barbra Streisand and The Deer Hunter but more than anything, she loved and adored her family.
