died January 31, 2016. She was 99. Born February 17, 1916 in Coshocton, Ohio, she moved to Bradenton in 1967 from Kingsport, Tennessee. Ms. Henderson graduated from Western Reserve University, now called Case Western Reserve, and studied library science and education at East Tennessee State College and the University of South Florida at Tampa. She was librarian at Cardinal Moony High School in Sarasota, having worked in public and school libraries in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Coshocton, Ohio, and Kingsport, Tennessee. After retiring, she worked with literacy programs for children and for adults. In Bradenton, she was a member of Manatee Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and the Manatee League of Women Voters. She is survived by a son, Joseph A. Henderson of Bentonville, Arkansas, a grandson, Joseph, Jr., who also lives in Bentonville, and by a sister, Jean Robbins, of Amhurst, Massachusetts.
