83, went home to live with Jesus on Monday, January 4, 2016, following a brief illness. Sue was born February 22, 1932, the youngest of 6 children, to Chauncey M. and Consuelo Parkins in Brazil, Indiana. She graduated from Staunton High School and married Harold Reynolds in 1951. They had 2 children, Steve and Connie. Sue married Bill Edwards in 1970 and gained another daughter, Sonnie. Sue and Bill moved to Bradenton, Florida in 1981. She worked in the Financial Aid Office at Manatee Community College from 1985 to 1997. Sue lost Bill to Parkinson's disease in 2003. Sue married Robert C. (Bob) Myers in 2004. Memories of Sue will be kept alive in the hearts of her family. She is survived by her husband Bob, her children, Steve Reynolds, Connie (Tim) Henning and Sonnie (John David) Moore, her grandchildren, Christina Reynolds, Scott (Michelle) Reynolds, Brett Reynolds, Karsen Moore, Alexa Henning and Tyler Henning, her great grandchildren, Skyler Reynolds, Dalton Roman, Trista Luker, Mason Reynolds, Aiden Reynolds and Stevie Grace Reynolds, her brother Wayne (Evelyn) Parkins, as well as many nieces, nephews and very dear friends. Sue will be remembered as a strong but gentle, caring woman who loved the Lord and loved her family unconditionally. She shared that love through her cooking, and the family will always remember the time and care she put into making homemade noodles for special occasions. A Memorial Service Celebrating Sue's Life will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Westcoast Church, 11750 US Hwy 301 North, Parrish, Florida 34219. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with the service immediately following at 11:00 AM. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Groover Funeral Home in Ellenton.
