77, died Sunday January 17, 2016 at her home in Bradenton, FL. She is survived by her husband of thirty two years, T. Dean Palmer, several cousins and countless friends. A lifelong actress, teacher, director and writer, Marilyn received a BA, Suma Cum Laude from the University of Utah in theater, a Master of Fine Arts in acting from the Yale University School of Theater and did post graduate work at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and The Central School of Drama in London England and the Old Vic Theater School in Bristol, England. In addition to her professional acting career as Britt Erickson which included a season at the Sarasota Asolo Theater, she was a professor of Theater teaching acting and directing at Oregon Southern University, Ashland, Oregon St. Edwards University, Austin TX where she was a director of the Mary Moody Northern Theater and Bridgewater State University, Bridgewater, MA. After the private services in Sandy, Utah she was buried in Lehi, Utah where she was born December 29, 1938. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory26th Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
