33, a Rifleman and Marksmanship Coach for the United States Marine Corps, passed away on June 27, 2016. He was a decorated war veteran who served combat duty in Afghanistan and was honorably discharged in 2005. He enjoyed surfing, fishing and his PS4. and was a lifelong resident of the Cortez area. He graduated Bayshore Highschool in 2001 with 12 years perfect attendance. He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Anna Barnes; brothers Justin (Lindsay) Barnes, Kyle Barnes; sisters, Misty Barnes and Ashley Barnes; Uncles, Tim (Mary Lou) Latta, Tony Barnes, Steve Barnes; aunt, Dawn (Leo) Shumaker; nephews Wesley, Kyle Jr. and nieces Kiley and Ellie. Grandmas Jean Todd and Joann Latta. A committal ceremony with Military Honors will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 an 10:30 am. Arrangements by All Veterans-All Families Funerals & Cremations.
