95, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on March 28th. Born in Duette, Florida, she lived in Manatee County all her life. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 77 years, Angus Clyde Colson. She is predeceased by 2 sons, Charles and Earl Colson. She is survived by 4 sons and 4 daughters. Her sons are Edward, Roy, Ray, and Wayne Colson. Her daughters are Virginia Murphy, Beverly Colson, Mary Noriega, and Joyce Farber. She was a grandmother to over 30 and a great grandmother to many more. She was a precious soul whose flame burned out here on Earth; she now shines brightly in heaven. We are devastated, but grateful that though we grieve, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings of eagles." -Isaiah 40:31 Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 and will be immediately followed by the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home located at 720 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, FL. Interment at Keen Cemetery in Duette, FL. Condolences for the family may be left at www.GriffithCline.com
