73, of Bradenton died January 7, 2016 at Blake Medical Center. Born in Dunkirk, NY, she was the daughter of Dominic A. and Irene (Blaszak) Gostomski. She was a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and retired from Manatee Community College, where she was a history professor and served as the Social Science Department Chair. She was most recently a member of the Niners at Tara Golf and Country Club. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Michael Gostomski; and husband, James R. McMahon. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Irene (Cecil) Brown of Knoxville, TN; two grandchildren, Kelia and William Brown; and brother, Dominic Gostomski of Bradenton, FL. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34207.
