Raymond Amie D'Amour passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 3, 2016 at age of 93 at Hawthorne Village Hospital in Sarasota, FL. Raymond was born on December 11th 1922, in Danvers, MA soon after his family moved to Salem where he grew up and received his education. Raymond was the son of Nelson D'Amour and Elmire Desjardines. He lived most of his adult life in Framingham MA then retiring and living in sunny Florida for the past 13 years. He was a very kind, funny and loving husband, father and grandfather; he loved to dance and sing, had a special recipe for pasta and meatballs that made his grandchildren love him even more; happy most of the time, calm, always cracking jokes and giving wise practical life lessons to all his children and grandchildren. His wife Maria, son Richard, daughters Denise, Diana, Darlene, along with his stepchildren Guillermo, Miguel, Ricardo and Hugo, survive him. Raymond lived a healthy happy life. He will be missed very much but will always be remembered by friends and all the members of his family. Visitation will be held on Friday May 6, 2016 from 4-8 PM with Funeral Service to begin at 7:00 PM at the Covell Funeral Home Chapel. 4232 26th Street West Bradenton.
