Ruby S. Fisler, 85, died June 16, 2016. She was born Jan. 4, 1931 in Annapolis, MD to Louis S. Stuller & Mae B. Henkensiefken. Ruby was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 2488, the Woman's Club Palmetto & Women of the Moose, Chapter 1072. She was a longtime employee of All Brokers Realty. She is preceded in death by her husband Capt. Louis H. Fisler USN (Ret.). Survivors include stepson Mark Fisler (Paula); stepdaughters Katheryn McKinney (Michael) & Elizabeth Hix (Keith); seven grandchildren; and one expected great-grandchild. She is also survived by beloved & devoted friends Bob & Becky Grant, as well as her beloved cats Peek-A-Boo, Sasha, Tyguh, & Sammi. Memorial service will be held on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Christ Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Manatee County, Cat Depot, or Christ Episcopal Church of Bradenton. Arrangements by Griffith-Cline Funeral Home.
