"The Lord called home one of his beloved Angels" Tonia Miller Turner "Toni" was age 77 when she passed peacefully in her sleep at home on March 13, 2016. She left this world, but will never leave our hearts. Toni was the only child of Pierce Miller and Elizabeth Penfornis Miller of Palmetto Florida, born on April 19, 1938. She graduated from Manatee High School in 1956 and went on to become a nurse serving her community until eventually retiring from Manatee Rural Health care. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be missed by many. Toni is survived by her loving husband Ronald Turner, who stayed by her side to the very end. She is also survived by her children; Timothy Bare (Nancy Stewart), Allison and John Maughn, Paul and Tammy Turner, as well as five grand children and five great-grand children and many friends, most notably Candice Hansen. Toni was best known for her love of sewing and was an accomplished seamstress as well as knitting, embroidery and other crafts that she loved making and giving to others. There will be a small personal ceremony on Wednesday March 16, 2016 at The Halifax Hospice Care Center at 11:00 am 1625 Veterans Memorial Parkway Orange City, Florida. 32763.
