Donald Victor Butera 64, of Palmetto passed away February 21, 2014. Born March 4, 1949 in Manatee County, to Frank and Angela Butera. He was one of three sons. He served at Holy Cross Catholic Church as a youth. Donald entered the US military as a Marine in 1967. He served his country in Vietnam, and is a disabled American veteran. He is a member of the local VFW. He is survived by his mother Angela of Palmetto, his brother Robert (Bob) of Palmetto and nephews and nieces. The viewing will be Friday February 28, 2014 at 1:00 pm and services will be at 2:00pm at Kicliter Funeral Home @ 517 8th Ave West, Palmetto FL 34221.
