86, of Bradenton, passed away March 2, 2014. Ed was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Originally from Campbell, Ohio, Ed was a member of the Memorial High School Football Hall of Fame. Ed was also a graduate of and a varsity football player for The Ohio State University, as well as a World War II veteran for the United States Air Force. He worked as an executive for the Chrysler Corporation in Highland Park, Michigan for 37 years. After moving to Bradenton in 1987, Ed became a football booster for Manatee High School, as well as an avid Gator fan. Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Anna Bilkie, and brother, Lawrence (Mary). He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judith Yankee Bilkie, brother, Richard (Gail), children: Randy, Rick (Lori), Debbie Walther (Tom), Guy Boitos (Janet), Chris (Corinne), and grandchildren: Amanda Bilkie, Ryan (Amber) and Holly Bilkie, Katie and Troy Walther, Laine and Tessa Boitos, Adeline and Joseph Bilkie, Grace and Jeffrey Andrus-Bilkie.
