Born in Providence, RI she moved to Bradenton in 1971 from South Burlington, VT, she was a Baptist and she worked over seas for the American Red Cross in Japan during World War II. Survived by son, Bruce (Cathy) of Bradenton, FL & nephew, Carl Pierce of Port Charlotte, FL. Visitation 10-11AM with Services to follow at 11AM, Thurs, May 1, at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes & Crematory 26th Street Chapel, 5624 26th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34207.
