Thomas Francis Arnold, Sr., age 73, of Live Oak, passed away peacefully Sunday evening May 11, 2014 at the Suwannee Valley Haven Hospice Care Center after an extended illness. He was born on March 11, 1941 in Brockton, Massachusetts to the late John Lawrence Arnold, Sr. and Marie Granger Arnold. He lived most of his life in the Florida area; having moved back to Live Oak in 1989. He loved to build things and was very involved in woodworking. He also was a very charitable person; and donated a lot to St. Jude. He loved fishing and Guns; he especially loved his coffee. He was retired from the State of Florida as a correctional officer; he was of the Baptist faith. He was married to Kay Frances Arnold for 35 years. He is preceded in death by his son: James Cutrone and his brother and sister: John Lawrence Arnold, Jr. and Joan Black. He is survived by his children: Cindy Migone (Mike) of Sarasota, Thomas Francis Arnold, Jr. (Belisa) of Troy, AL, Christine Ann Eason (Lamar) of Sarasota, FL and Spring Ann Mills (Veto) of Lake City, FL; brother: Peter Chalmers of Whittier, NC and sister: Lynne Crisp (Bill) of Franklin, NC; eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; special friend: Paul Snipes of Live Oak, FL. Many other extended family and special friends also survive. The family will hold a memorial pot luck in Mr. Arnold's honor at the Luraville Community Center on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 5 p.m. Arrange-ments are under the direction and care of the Dees-Parrish Family Funeral Home, 458 S.
