Mr.Harrington was my little league,Babe Ruth and American Legion coach in the late 60's and early 70's. More importantly, he was a friend of my family for 50 years and gave the eulogy for my father 12 years ago. It was a rare occasion on my trips back home to Eldred that I didn't stop at the homes of the Harringtons and Wolcotts families They were members of a very special generation and I know it is a very sad day in the Eldred community and for all the young people who knew him as a positive influence in their lives He was a wonderful man who continued his life's work despite tragic circumstances.
