Jane M. Daniels, 68, of Gold, Genesee, died Saturday (Oct. 13, 2012).
Born July 23, 1944, in Wellsville, N.Y., she was the daughter of Chester H. and Betsey E. Young Morley. On June 11, 1966, in Gold, she married Clayton W. Daniels Sr., who preceded her in death in 1979.
Mrs. Daniels was a member of the Gold Church.
She is survived by two sons, Guy (Shelly) Daniels of Coudersport and Clayton (Luanne) Daniels Jr. of Gold; a daughter, Betsey Daniels of Coudersport; a stepdaughter, Diana Hinson of Bush, La.; four sisters, Jeannette Buck of Gold, Peg (Jon) Parshall of Athens, Kathy Soule of Gold and Cindy Alackness of Roulette; a brother, Daniel (Nancy) Morley of Gold; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two aunts, Marguerite Wolfe of Pickerington, Ohio and Mildred Montgomery of Lansdale, N.Y.; and multiple nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Christopher S. Daniels in 1995.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Gold Church, 35 Route 449, Genesee. The Rev. Frank Mickle, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Raymond Cemetery, Allegany Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gold Church; American Heart Association; or American Diabetes Association.
