Mark H. Armstrong, 62, of Bradford. formerly of Pompano Beach, Fla., passed away Wednesday (April 6, 2016) at The Pavilion at BRMC. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. A celebration of Mark's life will be held at The Pennhills Club from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 14. Ebert, Kelilah  
ELDRED - Kelilah "Gracie" Ebert, 13, of Beers Hollow Road, went to be with the Lord on Saturday (May 21, 2016) at Cole Memorial Hospital in Coudersport following a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born Sept. 11, 2002, in North Charleston, S.C., she was a daughter of Charles C. and Mikki R. Lasher Ebert. Gracie attended Otto-Eldred schools, where she played drums in the concert band and had also played basketball. She was a member of the First Church of God in Eldred. Gracie was a "Whovian," she enjoyed watching TV, especially mysteries and the SyFy Channel. She also enjoyed reading, drawing, painting and playing Xbox games. She loved spending time with her family and her dog, "Rocky." Surviving, in addition to her parents of Eldred, are two brothers, Marshall and Adrian Ebert, both at home; her maternal grandparents, Richard and Cindy Lasher of Port Allegany; her maternal great-grandfather, Eugene (Carol) Frost of Port Allegany; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her special friends, Sarah Kusar, Hunter Waide and Kaya Smeltzer. She also leaves behind her dog, "Rocky." She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Linda and Charles Ebert; and her maternal grandmother, Evelyn Bhe; and her Uncle Marshall Lasher. Friends may call at the First Church of God, Eldred, from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m., at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Jim Kazimer, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Smethport. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred. Ferragine, Florence  
JOHNSONBURG - Florence M. Eckert Ferragine, 91, of Elk Haven Nursing Home, St. Marys, and formerly of Ridgway Road, Johnsonburg, died early Friday morning (May 20, 2016) at Elk Haven Nursing Home, following a lengthy illness. Florence was born May 12, 1925 in St. Marys. On June 17, 1947, in St. Mary's Church, St. Marys, she married Arthur J. Ferragine, who died Aug. 7, 2005. She is survived by two sons, Gerald A. "Jerry" (Jeanne) Ferragine of Johnsonburg and David R. (Beverly) Ferragine of St. Marys; five grandchildren, David C. (Christine) Ferragine, Brian R. (Stephanie) Ferragine, Amy (Adam) Dippold, Scott (Kim) Ferragine and Todd Ferragine; great-grandchildren, Alexander Ferragine, Cassey, Hanna and Brooke Dippold and Johnathan Ferragine; and a sister, Gertrude Smeal of St. Marys. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Church, Johnsonburg with the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. HAMBURG, N.Y. - Lloyd J. Hahn of Hamburg died Monday (May 16, 2016). He was the beloved husband of Edna Ross Hahn, who preceded him in death. He was a devoted father of Brian (Petra) and Doug (Donna) Hahn; cherished grandfather of Erik, Marlies, Jorge, Cressly, Christi Jo, and Craig; dearest great-grandfather of Samantha, Cristian, and Brycen; loving brother of Gregory (Anna) and John Joseph "Jack" (late Carol) Hahn; dear brother-in-law of Mary (late Marvin) Nagel, Martha Ross, Dorothy (Bruce) Aikman and Harriet (Gary) Osinski; and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters and brothers Eileen Holly, Bernice Ward, Paul Hahn, Anna Mae Wells, and Gerald Hahn. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 4199 Lake Shore Road (Corner of Camp Road and Route 5) Hamburg, N.Y. 716-627-2919. Hultman, Alverda  
KANE - Alverda B. Hultman, 93, formerly of Maple Street, Kane, died late Thursday afternoon (May 19, 2016) at the Lutheran Home at Kane. Born Oct. 3, 1922 in Sigel, she was the daughter of Charles C. and Alverda E. Cyphert Brinkley. In 1942 in Kane, she married Lawrence LeRoy Hultman, who died in 1976. A homemaker for many years, Alverda later worked at Stackpole in Kane for 27 years. She was a member of St. Callistus Catholic Church and VFW Post #1132, both in Kane. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia McClellan of Fairview and Linda Cochran of Deltona, Fla.; three sons, Joseph L. Hultman of Leonardtown, Md., George E. Hultman of Portland, Ore. and Kenneth "Paul" Hultman of Kane; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles LeRoy Hultman, and nine siblings. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home Inc., at which time a service will be held there with the Rev. David Pflieger, chaplain of the Lutheran Home at Kane, officiating. Interment will be in Mount Tabor Cemetery following cremation. Knight, Jonathan  
Jonathan Michael Knight, 42, of 1487 West 900 N. Wawaka, Ind., formerly of Smethport, passed away Wednesday (May 18, 2016) at his residence. Born Sept. 14, 1973, in Bradford, he was the son of Ira R. (Jan) Knight, who survives and the late Marlene (Anthony) Aiken. Jonathan graduated from Smethport High School in 1992 and later from Jamestown Community College with his degree in criminal justice. He was formerly employed at the McKean County 911 Center, a juvenile detention center in Elkhart, Ind., and was currently working as a case worker at Indiana Department of Family Resources. Surviving in addition to his father and stepmother of Smethport, is his fiancee Jennifer Lee, with whom he resided; two sisters, Jody (Chris Clouser) Rowland of Oil City, Katie (Matt) Fiscus of Corsica; his maternal grandmother, Shirley (Anthony) Presher of Bradford; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. Family will be receiving friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., where funeral and committal services will be held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dan LaPage, pastor of the Christian Gospel Church of Coleville, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park.
