Barraclough, Linda  
Linda D. Barraclough, 58, of Bradford, passed away on Saturday (Aug. 22, 2015) at her residence. She was born on Aug. 31, 1956, in Bradford, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Viola Means Bullock. She was a graduate of Bradford Area High School. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #2432, VFW Frances Sherman Auxiliary, American Legion Post #108 and the Marche Club. She was employed by Zippo Manufacturing Co. for the past 39 years. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Barraclough of Bradford; her mother-in-law, Constance Barraclough of Bradford; her sister-in-law, Robin (Steve) Foster of Findlay, Ohio; two nieces and several grand nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Bullock; and one sister, Eva Burkett. At the family's request, there will be no visitation or funeral services. Private burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette Township. Clark, Jack  
SHALLOTTE, N.C. - Jack Ervin Clark, 91, of Calabash, N.C., formerly of Bradford, Pa., died unexpectantly on Tuesday (Aug. 4, 2015) at his residence. Born in Bradford on May 23, 1924, he was a son of the late William Bruce and Edna Gilbert Clark. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Army and fought in Gen. Patton's infantry during World War II and was involved in the Battle of the Bulge. When he returned from the war, he worked for Walt Disney as an artist and then returned to Bradford, where he began a lifelong career heading the Art Department for Zippo Manufacturing Co. A master artist, he developed many designs for Zippo, including the Town and Country series. Upon his retirement from Zippo, he and his wife, Rose, moved to Calabash in 2002. He was a member of the McKean Masonic Lodge, McKean, Pa., Zem Zem Shrine Club, where he was a member of the "Jesters," and was a member of the Calabash VFW. Surviving are a son, John (Barbara) Clark of Shallotte; a daughter, Sherry Barnes of Blue Ridge, Ga.; grandchildren, Jason L. Barnes, Erin E. Chesebro, Jill Darley, Matthew Tolbert; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Jacob, Colin, Heath, Jack, Ireland, Brittany, Megan, Sydney Rose and Skylar. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta "Rose" Clark; two brothers, Bob and Howard Clark; and a sister, Donna Zandi. Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sept. 12 in the Foster Township Municipal Building, 1185 E. Main St., Bradford. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Shriner's Children's Hospital at P.O. Drawer 490, New Bern, N.C. 28563. Coy, Robert  
WINCHESTER, Va. - Robert "Bob" Gregory Coy, 60, of Frederick County, Va., died Wednesday (Aug. 26, 2015) at his home. Mr. Coy was born in 1955, in Bradford, Pa., the son of Mary Lou Coy of Bradford and the late Robert Leroy Coy. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Air Force as an air traffic controller achieving the rank of A1-C. Mr. Coy was a graduate of Penn State, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree, industrial arts education. He was a warehouse manager with Trex Co. in Winchester. Mr. Coy was a member of the American Kennel Club and the Blue Ridge Shepard Group. He married Janet Marie Troy on May 15, 1982, in State College, Pa. Surviving with his mother of Bradford and wife are his daughter, Heather Fritz of Thurmont, Md.; son, Jesse Coy of York, Pa.; grandson, Henry Robert Coy; sisters, Debbie Coy of Philadelphia, Pa., and Amy DePalma of Bradford He leaves behind his faithful K9 companions, "Bella Breeze" and "Lea." The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel. Crown, Robert  
BRASELTON, Ga. - Robert F. Crown, 80, formerly of Littletown, Oswayo, Pa., and Eldred, Pa., passed away on Saturday (Aug. 22, 2015) at the North East Georgia Medical Center following a short illness. Born on June 13, 1935, in Gaithersburg, Md., he was a son of Forrest F. and Ruby Briggs Crown. On Feb. 14, 2005, in the Lighthouse Community Free Methodist Church in Prentisvale, Pa., he married Luzviminda B. Basit, who survives. Bob was a 1953 graduate of Gaithersburg High School and afterward served with the Army National Guard for four years before moving to Littletown, where he owned and operated a dairy and beef farm from 1960 until 1975. He then moved to Oswayo, where he also had a beef farm from 1975 until 1980, when he moved to Canfield Hollow, Eldred, where he enjoyed a hobby farm, raising beef cows and cutting hay. Robert had also been employed at the Viko Furniture Co. in Eldred from 1975 until 1980. He was a past member of the Lighthouse Community Free Methodist Church and his hobbies included farming, hunting, lake fishing and gardening. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Billy (Connie) Crown of Coudersport, Pa., and Leann (Don) Alford of Hanover; three grandchildren, Melony (Al) Derksen (and their children, Taylor and Tyler), Charles Dillon Crown and Evelyn Delanie Crown; and a sister, Catherine Stinson of Mount Airy, Md. Bob was preceded in death by two brothers. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Frame Funeral Home in Eldred, where the funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Howard, Albert  
Albert L. Howard, 54, of Bradford, passed away Tuesday (Aug. 18, 2015) at his residence. Born July 22, 1961, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Donald A. "Joe" and Bonnie Benson Howard-Tancar. Mr. Howard attended Bradford area schools. He had spent his entire career working in the timber industry. He enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. He is survived by his son, Zachery A. Howard of Bradford; his former wife, Joni (Brindley) Howard of Bradford; two sisters, Jo Marie Marinelli of Newbury Park, Calif., and Dawne Howard of Garner, N.C.; one brother, Michael (Linda) Howard of Smethport; and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Mike Tancar. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave., where funeral and committal services will follow immediately with the Rev. Robert Shallenberger, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette. SMETHPORT - Dale Edward Keech, 51, of Bradford, died Wednesday (Aug. 19, 2015) at his residence in Bradford. He was born Feb. 29, 1964, in Bradford, a son of Ray W. and Shirley J. Hendrickson Keech. Mr. Keech was a graduate of Smethport High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding four-wheelers. He is survived by his fiancée, Donna Anders, and caregiver, Levisa Smith, both of Bradford, with whom he resided; six stepgrandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Monday at the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc., 2 Bank St., Smethport, where funeral and committal services will follow immediately with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Smethport.
