Patterson, Daniel  
Daniel L. Patterson, 60, of 3385 West Washington St., Bradford, passed away Saturday (May 14, 2016). Born April 29, 1956, in Bradford, he was a son of the late Theodore and Evelyn Masters Patterson. On April 2, 1977, at the West Branch United Methodist Church, he married Tammy A. Yohe Patterson, who survives him. He was a 1974 graduate of Bradford High School. Dan was employed as a machinist at Trico Industries for 23 years. He was a member of the Bradford Pool League. He enjoyed watching his hummingbirds, riding his Harley, his home in Willow Creek, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends. Surviving, in addition to his wife Tammy of 39 years, are two sons, Jesse L. (Laura) Patterson of Indiana, Pa., and Joshua M. (fiancee Sara) Patterson of Ashville, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Livia Patterson and Holden Patterson; one sister, Lisa (Kevin) Harbaugh of Bradford; two brothers, Tom (Gail) Patterson of Pineville N.C., and Greg Patterson of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Thad Michael Patterson; and one brother, Gerald Patterson. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., followed immediately by funeral and committal services with the Rev. Joann Piatko, pastor of St. Joseph Episcopal Church in Port Allegany, officiating. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or Willow Creek Triathlon, P.O. Pedine, Irene  
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. - Irene O. Pedine, 85, formerly of Custer City, Pa., passed away Friday (May 13, 2016) at Heritage Village Rehab & Skilled Nursing. A Jamestown area resident since 1987, she was born Sept. 24, 1930, in Bradford, Pa., the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Kutchmire Onuffer. Irene was formerly employed by Corning Glass in Bradford. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards with friends. Surviving are two daughters, Janice (Patrick) Johnson of Lakewood and Beth Hostetler of Jamestown; and grandchildren, Boyd (Nicole) Johnson and their daughter, Olive, of South Carolina, Robert Johnson and his daughters, Elise and Anna, of Buffalo, and Emma Piazza of Lakewood. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, John Pedine, who died in June of 1991; and a son, Jon Pedine. A private family graveside service will be held in St. Bernard Cemetery in Bradford. Visitation will not be observed. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Lind Funeral Home Inc., Jamestown. The family suggests memorials may be made to your local humane society. Pupo, Louis  
Louis A. "Lou" Pupo, a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, 88, of 17 Sullivan Road, Bradford, passed away Thursday (May 26, 2016) surrounded by his loving family at The Pavilion at BRMC. Born in Johnsonburg, on Jan. 29, 1928, he was a son of the late Vincent "Jim" and Rose Vallone Pupo. On June 9, 1956, at St. Bernard Church, he married Sue Anne Dudick Pupo, who survives. He was a 1947 graduate of Johnsonburg High School and received his bachelor's degree in 1951 from Duquesne University School of Pharmacy. Lou moved to Bradford in 1954 and started working at Ott & McHenry Pharmacy until 1976. In August of 1975, he began working in the pharmacy at the Bradford Hospital and soon later became director of the pharmacy. He retired in July of 2006. Lou, being a dedicated pharmacist, often returned to cover vacations and employees out on sick leave. He was a member of St. Bernard Church, the American Pharmacy Association and American Society of Hospital Pharmacists. He was an avid sports fan and intently followed the Yankees, Notre Dame, and the Buffalo Bills. Lou's greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family and cooking Sunday dinners, which consisted of his homemade spaghetti sauce and fried meatballs. Surviving, in addition to his wife Sue Anne of nearly 60 years, are his three sons, Thomas G. Pupo of Warren, John V. Pupo of Bradford, and Timothy (Pattie) Pupo of Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Francis Pupo of St. Marys; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve) Baumgart of Jamestown, N.Y., Kristen (Robert) Labbe of Bristol, Conn., and Tiffani (Keith) Finnell of Cape Coral, Fla.; three great-grandchildren, Mason Baumgart, Ethan Labbe and Charlie Finnell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Michael, Joseph and Salvatore Pupo. Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and again from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 33 South Ave., where a prayer service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor, as celebrant. Mausoleum entombment will be follow in St. Bernard Mausoleum. Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Bernard Church, P.O.
