Bernard B. "Ben" Caserio, 85, of Bradford, passed away on Friday (Oct. 25, 2013) at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
He was born on June 25, 1928, in Bradford, a son of the late Patsy and Anita Basile Caserio.
He was employed by the former Airco Speer Electronics for 25 years until his retirement in 1976.
In his younger days he was a talented tennis player who was a former Junior Champion. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, the La Stella Lodge and Italian American Progressive Club.
He is survived by one brother, Tony (Betty) Caserio of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard Caserio; two sisters, Camille Palumbo and Josephine Colosimo; and one nephew, Anthony "Pat" Colosimo.
At the family's request, visitation will be private. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant. Burial and committal services will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
