Helen Hagelin

Helen F. Fetyko Hagelin, 90, of 1380 West Warren Road, Bradford, formerly of Lakewood, N.Y., passed away Saturday (March 15, 2014) at the Lakeview Senior Care & Living Center in Smethport.
Born July 22, 1923, in Custer City, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Sophie Koval Fetyko Sr.
Mrs. Hagelin was a graduate of Bradford High School. She had been employed in Washington as a secretary during World War II and later worked for the FBI. She returned to the Bradford area and worked for attorney Zeke McCommon for many years and retired from the law office of Stanley Pecora.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence Hagelin; three sisters, Kay Benton, Janet Bloomer and Ann Mattison; three brothers, Charles Fetyko, who was killed in World War II, Michael Fetyko Jr. and John F. Fetyko.
Family will be receiving friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., where a prayer service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at noon in St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor, as celebrant. Committal service and burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
