INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Janice "Gram" Willey, 75, of Pendleton, died Sunday (July 13, 2013).
She was born Aug. 21, 1937, in Bradford, Pa., to Harry and June Hess Tarbox. She was a member of Ford Street United Methodist Church, Phi Theta Kappa, where she was a past chapter president, and was the Madison county coordinator for the Linus Project.
She enjoyed spending time with her dog, "Cuddles."
Survivors include daughters, Bonnie Hults Kern of Key West, Fla., Tracy Hults Phillips of Satsuma, Fla., and Penny (Gary) Cox of Anderson; grandchildren, Justin Hults, Jennifer (Shane) Spitz, Jake (Starr) Kern, Nick (Sarah) Cox, Gary (Angie) Cox Jr., Cary Cox, Jeremy Safford, Heather Coon and Donovan Phillips; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Duane L. Hults; two daughters, Duana Hults and Sherry Hults; granddaughter, Micha Hults; and sister, Carolyn Tarbox Sturdevant.
A graveside funeral service was conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel. Visitation was held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 221 E. State St., Pendleton.
