Jarrett Costanzo

KANE - Jarrett Jenkins Costanzo, 6, of 271 Old Smethport Road, Kane, passed away Saturday (Aug. 31, 2013) of injuries sustained in an automobile accident which occurred on U.S. Route 219 north of Lantz Corners.
Born July 11, 2007, in Warren, Jarrett was the son of Angelo and Michelle Jenkins Costanzo.
He attended kindergarten at Kane Area Elementary School and was in Mrs. Pusateri's class. Jarrett enjoyed playing football, baseball and wrestling. Often he could be seen on the sidelines as he loved watching his older brothers play football. Jarrett's smile could light up a room and he brought happiness to all those who knew him and even those who didn't!
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two brothers, Angelo Costanzo III and Jacob Costanzo, both at home; his maternal grandparents, Kent and Sherry Jenkins of Kane; his paternal grandmother, Sue Costanzo of Kane; three aunts, Wendi (Kirk) Bator of Bradford, Kathy Douglas of Kane and Mary (Mike) McCormack of Kane; three uncles, Allen (Cheryl) Jenkins of Roanoke, Va., Bill (Sonia) Costanzo of Kane, and Jim Costanzo and his fiancee Samantha Von Arx of Kane; his great-grandmother, Mary "Tommy" Peterson of Kane; and several cousins.
Preceding him in death was his paternal grandfather, Angelo Costanzo.
Friends will be received at the Cummings Funeral Home Inc. from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Callistus Catholic Church with the Rev. Philip Pinczewski, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at St. Callistus Cemetery.
