JOHNSONBURG - Justine Marie Bowser, 35, of Johnsonburg, died Sunday (Aug. 11, 2013) as a result of an auto accident.
Born July 23, 1978, in St. Marys, she was a daughter of Robert W. (Clara) Bowser Sr. of St. Marys and Antoinette "Toni" (Willis) Hasselman Jordan of Johnsonburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Carli Jane Barnett at home; four sisters, twin sister Jessica Kenyon of Brookville, Danielle (Jason) Mock of Pittsburgh, Robin (Steve) Hood of Robinson Township and Beth Gahn of St. Marys; four brothers, Robert W. (Dr. Amber) Bowser Jr. of Johnsonburg, Jay Bowser of Pittsburgh, Christopher (Tawnya) Bowser of St. Marys and Edward (Amber) Kestler in South Carolina; paternal grandmother, Marie Bowser of Ridgway; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Jean Knight; maternal grandfather, Stan Hasselman; and paternal grandfather, Arnold Bowser.
She graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1996 and attended Indiana of Pennsylvania in Punxsutawney for culinary arts.
She is a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Johnsonburg. She was the director of dietary at Christ the King Manor in DuBois and a bartender at the Johnsonburg Legion. She was also an organ donor and a member of Piedmont, the Johnsonburg Legion and the Central Hose Hall.
She lived most of life in Johnsonburg.
A public visiting will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Ubel Funeral Home, Johnsonburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Johnsonburg with the Rev. David Wilson officiating.
