Michael C. "Mike" Foy, 57, of Port Allegany, passed away with his loving family at his side on Friday (Jan. 25, 2013) in the Charles Cole Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit, Coudersport, after a lengthy illness.
Born Dec. 4, 1955, in Philadelphia, he was a son of Thomas J. and Anna M. Morris Foy Sr.
Mike served with the U.S. Marines for four years. He attended UCLA
for computer programming.
A resident of Port Allegany since 1995, he had previously lived in Philadelphia.
Mike was a member of the 5M Hunting Club in Smethport. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to play shuffleboard, pool and darts. He loved to drive his convertible.
Surviving are two daughters, Michele G. Foy and Christina M. (Stacy Cobb) Foy, both of Coudersport; a son, Michael T. (Jessica) Foy of Greensboro, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Zachary, Victoria, McKayla and Brianna.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Adara Lynn Cobb; a brother, Anthony Foy; and a sister, Teresa Foy.
A private celebration of Mike's life will held with family and friends.
