Sharon Littlefield

DUKE CENTER - Sharon L. Littlefield, 67, of Duke Center, passed away Monday (March 17, 2014) in her home following a brief illness. 
Born Sept. 29, 1946, in Cuba, N.Y., she was the daughter of the L. Lavern Walker and Donna H. Walker. On Oct. 9, 1965, in Duke Center, she married Dale L. Littlefield, who preceded her in death on June 26, 2011.
A graduate of Otto-Eldred High School, she obtained a secretarial degree from the Olean (N.Y.) Business Institute, and held various administrative positions with the former Clark Brothers, Otto-Eldred High School and Otto Township Supervisors. Most recently, she worked at Wentworth Cutlery in Bradford.
She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed sewing, reading and the outdoors, as well as spending time with her family. She was a member of the Duke Center United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother of Duke Center, she is survived by two daughters, Tonya (Brad) Cummings of Berea, Ky., and Kelly (John) Daniels of Duke Center; one son, Kerry (Stephanie) Littlefield of Pine City, N.Y.; two grandsons, Tate and Wade Daniels of Duke Center; two granddaughters, Payton Littlefield of Pine City and Lillian Cummings of Berea; one grandchild on the way; two brothers, Brad Walker of Mindoro, Wis., and Terry (Gail) Walker of Pittsfield; one niece, Jessalyn (Charles) Barbour of Pasadena, Md.; two nephews, Jamie (Donna) Walker of Youngsville, and Korey (Pam) Walker of Eldred; and several great nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A memorial committal service will be held at 1 p.m. today in the Rixford Cemetery with the Rev. Gary L Sheesley officiating. Burial will follow in Rixford Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Frame Funeral Home, Eldred.
