Aden D. Miller, 97, of Chapel Ridge, passed away Saturday (June 15, 2013) at his residence.

Born in Rew, on July 6, 1915, he was a son of the late Charles and Lulu McCord Miller. He was a 1932 graduate of Bradford High School.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army on April 27, 1942 and served in Newfoundland during World War II. He achieved the rank of staff sergeant and was honorably discharged on Oct. 29, 1945.
He was employed as a dental technician at Dr. Fred Zeigler, DDS, for many years. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing the guitar and photography.
Surviving is one stepsister, Mildred Adsit of Sherburne, N.Y.; one stepsister-in-law, Betty Dibble of Smethport; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather; three stepsisters; and five stepbrothers.
Family will be receiving friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., East Main Street, where funeral and committal services will follow with the Rev. Rick Price officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
