Agnese C. Giordano, 88, of 66 Ann Lane, Bradford, passed away on Friday (Feb. 17, 2012) at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

She was born on Aug. 4, 1923, in Rome, Italy, a daughter of the late Emdis and Maria Fedechi Cagnoli. On Jan. 28, 1946, she married John A. Giordano in Italy, who passed away on March 18, 1979.
She attended Catholic schools in Rome, Italy. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.
She was employed as a furrier for 36 years at the former S.K. Tate Furs and Fashion Land and later by The Bradford Era for 16 years.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews in Italy, several Godchildren, several cousins in the United States and many caretakers, friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Virgilio, Pietro, Raffaele and Antonio and three sisters, Assunta, Allegrina and Gina.
At her request, there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
