Aldene M. Brocious, 93, formerly of 1062 South Ave., passed away Monday (April 9th, 2012) at The Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 18, 1918, in Timblin, a daughter of the late Mervin and Marie Brocious. On Sept. 16, 1938, in DuBois, she married Malcolm H. "Fat" Brocious, who died on April 16, 1987.
Mrs. Brocious attended Punxsutawney High School.
She moved to Bradford with her husband and they ran the Bradford plant of the New Bethlehem Burial Co. for many years.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Margaret E. Brocious; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Ronald L. Brocious on Jan. 14, 2004; sister; and three brothers.
Friends may call at the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., South Avenue, on Thursday from noon to 2 p.m., at which time funeral and committal services will be held with the Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in McKean Memorial Park, Lafayette.
