Amado Leonel Cota-Robles II, 49, of 264 Hedgehog Lane, passed away Thursday (Nov. 7, 2013) surrounded by his loving family, at the Olean (N.Y.) General Hospital.
Born April 6, 1964, in Roswell, N.M., he was a son of the late Amado Leonel Cota-Robles and his mother Sylvelin Wild Barker, who survives.
On April 16, 1988, in Holley, Ore., he married Valerie L. Wright Cota-Robles, who survives.
Mr. Cota-Robles II was general manager at Pepperell Braiding for 27 years.
He was a member of the Bradford Township Volunteer Fire Department for 17 years, as well as a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Eagles Club.
He enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing the slots and shooting pool in the club league. He loved his dog Leo and was anxiously awaiting his first grandchild's birth.
Surviving, in addition to his wife and mother, is a stepfather, Howard Lee Barker of Green Valley, Ariz.; a stepmother, Gretchen Preston of Gilford, N.H.; a daughter, Samantha (Nathaniel Westlake) Cota-Robles of Bradford; three sisters, Sonia Cota-Robles, Melissa (Allan Graton) Cota-Robles and Tanya Klowden; four brothers, Steven (Debbie) Cota-Robles, David (Lindsay) Cota-Robles, Garrett (Lisa) Cota-Robles and Curtis (Rima) Cota-Robles; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., 372 East Main St., where a prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating.
