COUDERSPORT - Ardath M. Tucker, 85, a longtime resident of Coudersport and Roulette, died Sunday (Nov. 25, 2012) at Sweden Valley Manor in Coudersport.

Born on March 17, 1927, in Port Allegany, she was the daughter of Leland and Anna Lyman Murphy. On Nov. 29, 1960, she married Robert "Brother Bob" Tucker, who died on April 3, 2004.
Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Coudersport. She loved to clean and shop.
Surviving are two daughters, Cindy (Ed) Daugherty of Port Allegany and Teri Briggs of Virginia Beach, Va; one son, Thomas (Linda) Pesock of Coudersport; two stepdaughters, Susie Tucker of Andrews Settlement and Mindy Tucker in Florida; one stepson, Michael (Susan) Tucker of Olean, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Susie Wood and Sandra "Sissy" Ahearn, three sisters and one brother.
Friends are invited to attend Mrs. Tucker's Life Celebration beginning Wednesday with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. David Minor Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Hill Cemetery in Roulette.
