Argenia "Arg" Buccolini Sposato, 90, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Bradford, went to be with her beloved Tino in Heaven on Sunday (Nov. 15, 2015) at the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg.
She was born on Oct. 2, 1925 in Sarnano, Italy, a daughter of the late Alfredo and Annetta Formica Buccolini.
She was a graduate of the Bradford Area High School.
On April 21, 1945 in the St. Bernard Catholic Church she married Augustine Carmen "Tino" Sposato, who preceded her in death on April 8, 2008.
She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church where she was a cleaning volunteer, the Catholic Women's Club, the Maceratese Club of Bradford and a volunteer for the Bradford Italian Festival.
She was employed for several years at the former Dresser Industries as a line product worker and as a homemaker taking care of her family.
She is survived by two sons, James (Molly) Sposato and Michael (Sally) Sposato all of Jamestown, N.Y.; one daughter, Linda (Stephen) Yaskow of Altoona; one brother, Patrick (Bonnie) Buccolini of Bradford; four sisters, Edith Anderson of Richmond, Va., Mary (Sonny) Vinca of Corry, Joan Houston of East Charleroi, and Lisa Zurat of Bradford; seven grandchildren, Jamie (Karina) Sposato of Frewsburg, N.Y., Amanda Sposato of Grove City, Steven Sposato of Chicago, Ill., Anthony (Jena) Sposato of Grand Rapids, Mich., Michael Sposato and Lydia Sposato, both of Jamestown, and Tyler Sposato of Chevy Chase, Md.; four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Jameson and Elise Sposato, all of Frewsburg, N.Y., and Samuel Sposato of Grand Rapids, Mich.; brother-in-law, Richard (Nancy) Sposato of Bradford; sister-in-law, Gloria Sherman of Buffalo, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by one brother, Quido "Rudy" Buccolini.
At her request there will be no visitation. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. on Thursday at the St. Bernard Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymond Gramata as celebrant. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery.
