NORWELL, Mass. - Bernard W. "Ben" Michalski, of Attleboro, died Wednesday (April 16, 2014).

Ben was born Sept. 23, 1936, in Bradford, Pa., the only child of the late Bernard W. and Geraldine Michalski. Ben is survived by his wife, Ann Young Michalski of Attleboro.
Ben is also survived by his children, daughters, Marybeth (Christopher) Belczyk of Erie, Pa., and Bridget (William) Sharrock of Fairfield, Conn., his son, Michael (Carol) Michalski of Fairfield, as well as Christine Michalski, mother of his children. He also leaves his six grandchildren, Emily and Elizabeth Belczyk of Erie, William Sharrock Jr. of New York City, Caitlin and Christopher Michalski of Plymouth and Matthew Michalski of Fairfield, as well as his great-granddaughter, Olivia Belczyk Lazenby.
Ben attended the University of Buffalo, N.Y. He was retired in 2003 after 45 years as a manager in the electronic components industry for manufacturers, distribution and representatives.
Visiting hour will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Route 123 near the state police barracks), Norwell Center, followed by a memorial service at noon.
