Betty L. Arnett, 83, of Lewis Run, passed away on Monday (Jan. 20, 2014) at The Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
She was born on April 26, 1930, in Three Rivers, Mich., the daughter of the late William E. and Lucille A. Dane Briney. On Feb. 5, 1949, in the West Branch United Methodist Church, she married George D. Arnett, who survives.
Mrs. Arnett was a 1948 graduate of Bradford Area High School. She attended the West Branch United Methodist Church and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and traveling.
In addition to her husband of 64 years, George Arnett of Lewis Run, she is also survived by one son, David (Diane) Arnett of Bradford; two daughters, Karen (Steve) Churchill of Wallace, Mich., and Laura Keesler of Gifford; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother, William Briney.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Mascho Funeral Home Inc., where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Matthew Blake, pastor of the Bradford area parish, officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
