MODESTO, Calif. - Beverly A. (Brady) Little of Modesto, formerly of Bradford, Pa., passed into glory Monday (April 7, 2014) at age 58.
The Guest Book is expired.
She was born May 12, 1955.
Boring wasn't an option and simple was never good enough. Chasing beauty was her mantra. She lived an embellished life and everything around her sparkled. During her journey here on earth, she thought that there was nothing that a hot glue gun, a yard of fabric or a splash of leopard print couldn't fix. Even as the diagnosis looked grim, she knew there was something inherently wrong with death so she dug in her heels and beat all odds so she could see San Francisco, Carmel and Christmas one last time. Even in death, she still chased beauty; just this time into the arms of the Lord on Monday, April 7.
Beverly was a 1973 graduate of Bradford Area High School and a 1977 graduate of Mansfield (Pa.) State College with a degree in visual merchandising. Her career was spent merchandising stores for Macy's in various locations around Northern California and Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas, Nev.
Beverly Little - we are so grateful for your spirit, your creativity, your eye roll and your full-hearted belly laugh. You left this earth to join the Lord just as you came in - with fire in your belly, grit in your spirit and a twinkle in your eye. Heaven's gates are most likely now painted fuchsia, the angels are sporting feather boas and the Lord is rejoicing because he's happy to have you home. We love you and miss you terribly, but we love that you are no longer in pain, and we look forward to the day where we see you again. In the meantime, we relish in the beauty you left behind and the rebellious, wonderful spirit that was Beverly Little.
She is survived by her mother, Matilda Brady, and sisters Kathleen (Denny) Coleman and Karen (Ed) Pomroy, all of Bradford, and sister, Bridget (Mark) Kleiderlein of Modesto; nephew, Lance Kleiderlein of Gillette, Wyo.; and niece, Morgan Kleiderlein of San Francisco.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Brady of Bradford.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. May 2 at Big Valley Grace Community Church in Modesto.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Beverly Little to the Ava Marlo Kleiderlein Foundation: 46 Alpine Drive, Gillette, WY 82718.
