CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - CSM Blagoe Paul, 82, of Clarksville, passed away on Monday (Aug. 17, 2015) at Grace Healthcare.
Blagoe was born on June 7, 1933, in Mount Jewett, Pa., to the late Peter Paul and Christine Valova Paul. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Knight Paul; two brothers, Costa Paul and Alex Paul; and sister, Sophie Angelo.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Blagoe retired from the U.S. Army after 27 years of service, where he served in the Korean War and Vietnam Conflict.
Blagoe is survived by his son, Randell Paul of Clarksville; daughter, Rachel (Todd) Gerber of Nashville; brother, Bort Paul of Arizona; and two sisters, Olga Martin in New York and Melista Patrick in Pennsylvania.
Military will serve as pallbearers.
