COUDERSPORT - Bradley Eugene Whitman Sr., 53, resident of 181 Rt. 6 West, Coudersport, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday (April 4, 2015) at the Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford.
Bradley was born on Sept. 8, 1961 and was one of the nine children, born to Charles L. and Christine McConnell Whitman in Lebanon. Bradley was a graduate of Coudersport High School and worked as a journeyman/electro mechanic.
On April 26, 1980, Bradley married Brenda Daisley whom he loved and adored. Over the next several years, Bradley became the father of three sons, Bradley E. (Sonya) Whitman Jr. of Erie, Brandon E. (Natalie) Whitman of Port Allegany and Brett S. Whitman of Coudersport; his only daughter, Brielle M. Whitman of Coudersport; and three grandchildren Jack, Callen and Keegan.
Bradley was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and enjoyed many things in life but the two things you would see him enjoying the most was his family and the many adventures in the outdoors.
Bradley is survived by his father, Charles L.Whitman Sr. of Coudersport, four brothers, Barry (Sandy) Whitman of Coudersport, Craig (Courtney) Whitman of Coudersport, Forrest Whitman of Coudersport, and Charles L. (Susan) Whitman Jr. of Myerstown; and four sisters, Diana Dillen of Duncannon, Luan Sweigert of Duncannon, Sonya (Ron) Long of Lebanon, and Tammy Landis of Lebanon; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to Bradley's Life Celebration service at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3 Borie St., Coudersport, Pa, 16915.
Donations can be made in the honor of Bradley to the Seneca Trout Unlimited, Sartwell Creek Road, Port Allegany, PA 16743; and the Ben Stimaker Memorial, Pa. National Wildlife Turkey Federation, 186 Horns Hollow Rd., Austin, Pa, 16720. (www.NWTF.org)
