FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Byron Burton Bromley, 74, of Fayetteville, formerly of Dunkirk, N.Y.; Wellington, Ohio; and Bradford, Pa.; peacefully passed away Friday (March 4, 2016) at home.

He served four years in the U.S. Air Force. After the Air Force, he was an air traffic controller for the Federal Aviation Administration, retiring in 2001.
A Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fayetteville, with the Rev. Rob Schmidt officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Bernard Cemetery, Bradford.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betsy E. Boyle-Bromley; daughters, Lizabeth Anne Reetz-Rinaldi and Julie Anne Bromley; granddaughter, Annika Margaret Reetz; grandson, Zachary Byron Reetz, all of Fayetteville; aunt, Margaret K. Frisina of Wellington.
