FALLS CHURCH, Va. - Carl Jack Costanzo died on Tuesday (Nov. 4, 2014).

He was the beloved husband of Lela Louise for 63 years; devoted father of son Larry (Beth); grandfather of Kristy Titus (Danny) and Jacob; great-grandfather of Lilly and Ivy Titus. Survived by brothers, Joe (Peggy) and Don (Shirley); sister, Theresa Bucci (Joe) and numerous nephews, nieces and other family.
Carl served this country as a naval officer for 22 years and then as a civil servant for the Naval Department for another 24 years. He also served the Arlington community for more than 40 years.
His passion later in life was performing with the Arlingtones (barbershop quartet singers) at different venues throughout the Northern Virginia community.
Friends may visit family at Murphy's Funeral Home, 1102 W. Broad St., Falls Church, from 5 to 9 p.m. today. A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas More Cathedral, 3901 Cathedral Lane, Arlington. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
His heart was matched only by his smile and both will be greatly missed by many.
