KANE - Celeste "Sis" Kilmer, 94, formerly of 28 Birch St., Kane, died Monday evening (Oct. 3, 2016) at the Kane Community Hospital.

Born Jan. 2, 1922, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of Dewey and Viola Johnson Croyle. She was married to C. William "Bill" Kilmer, who died in 1997.
Sis owned and operated Kilmer's Fruit Market in Lantz Corners, along with her husband, for over 50 years.
Surviving are two sons, Bill (Barb) Kilmer of Kane and Thomas (Debbie) Kilmer of Lantz Corners; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, plus several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband and parents, by a son, Jerry Kilmer; a stepson, Jack Kilmer; and brothers Gerald, Kenny and Armel Croyle.
Visitation and a service will be held privately on Friday at the Ronald McDonald II Funeral Home Inc. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery, Kanesholm.
