Clara M. Petitt, 79, formerly of 598 E. Main St., passed away Saturday (June 6, 2015) at the Bradford Manor.

Born Sept. 16, 1935, in Buffalo, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude C. Azure Maile.
She attended schools in the Buffalo, N.Y., area.
On Feb. 19, 1961, in Bradford, she married Raymond C. Petitt, who passed away in May of 1992.
She worked for a time for Goodwill Industries in Bradford.
An avid bingo player, she enjoyed going to area casinos and was an Elvis Presley fan.
She is survived by two daughters, Martha (Dennis) Cawley of Bradford and Shawn (Kurt) Corah, of Emlenton; two sons, Raymond (Fran) Petitt of Salamanca and Richard Petitt in South Carolina; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Phyllis Pezone of Buffalo; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Petitt, who passed away in 2014; a son, Randy Petitt, who passed away in 1979; a daughter-in-law, Eleanor Petitt; a sister, Marilyn Cinnotti and two brothers, Harry Maile and Bernard Maile.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc., South Avenue, with the Rev. Raymond Gramata, pastor of St. Bernard Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Dale Cemetery.
